A hot take. So far not loving it… I don’t like how the social commentary is so spelled out for the reader. IMO it would be more powerful to show the reader rather than just stating it. It’s starting to distract me from the plot where I feel like the social commentary and plot could easily go hand in hand without spelling it out. I think I like being trusted as a reader to come to the right conclusion.
