I absolutely love where this leaves off and what it sets up for the rest of the series. God, what a writer Ruocchio is. I've heard this is the weakest entry, and if that's true, I'm in for quite the ride with the Suneater series.

Absolutely loving this and it's such a slow burn. The prose is beautiful but digestible, and the philosophy presented is super intriguing and feels naturally inserted by the situations Hadrian finds himself in, whether thrust upon him or by his own doing. Cannot wait to finish this one and get further in the series
