Erikson is my god. His writing is superb. I love reading his battle descriptions. More than any other fantasy/adventure writer, his words conjure up specific, detailed images of battles, wounds, weapons, and the many aspects of death. How is this man so awesome? I want to only read until this book is done.

The Teblor have an intensely violent warrior class. I don't even have words for how sickeningly violent this first couple chapters have been.
