Sarah Brazytis I always enjoy this one! Love the 'homeschool' vibes at the end - this book helped inspire some themes in my 'Harmony Street' series.

Sarah Brazytis It was incredible to research, and realize how anti-school she was in almost every book! Certainly gives a different perspective than Ma Ingalls who was always so desperate to put her girls in any school she happened across, even if the teacher was terrible, like Miss Eliza Jane Wilder. :)
