Finally got this book back after having to wait after it lapsed!! Ready to get mad again

OKAY and that’s not even mentioning the asbestos and talc problem in their cosmetic products that they continued to deny in courts for so long while thousands of women died from ovarian cancer from using their stuff. I’m ticked!!

Had no clue about all the people/kids who have died from acetaminophen poisoning - J&J covers it up EVERY time 😭 a reminder that many dr’s are paid in cash for every medicine they prescribe or give & that it is frequently not in the best interest of the patient. Especially because the FDA isn’t holding these huge companies accountable and hasn’t been for decades. The 1982 Tylenol/cyanide murders - wild.

I’m mad. The FDA is funded so much by the drug companies and I had no idea that the FDA used to be in charge of investigating drug companies and making sure they were using safe dosages and products for us. Then as soon as drug companies started paying out doctors and the FDA those investigations stopped. That SAME YEAR. They haven’t investigated a drug company since 1992.
