I thought the quickness of them “subtly” falling for each other was just a part of the ridiculousness of the movie, but I’m seeing now that’s just literally how the book is. What do u mean we’ve had two conversations you said I don’t wanna be ur friend and then you offer to drive me to Seattle?! Like 3-4 hours from forks one way.

I’m wondering if the reason that Edward is so stiff around Bella is because he can’t read her thoughts and he’s scared about that. the movie, made it seem like he needed to feed, which might be part of it as well, considering she said his eyes were so dark black and I know that the next time she sees him, his eyes are glittering and colorful.
