Even though the cavern life is safe, Eliza has started to plan her escape. Meanwhile, there are many other threats outside of the cavern. These glowing creatures called bioluminescents are bloodthirsty and waiting for Eliza and her friends to come to them. "If we don't keep moving, we're caught. And if we're caught, we're dead"(199). I think that Eliza is going to find a way out, but not without trouble first.

This book is about a 16 year old girl named Eliza, who falls down a sinkhole. This sinkhole leads her to an underground cavern, where she stumbles upon a human civilization. But little does she know of the caves unnatural animals and bugs and the many dangers to come. "The breath leaves my lungs at the sight of the biggest spider I've ever seen"(Ward 95). I think that Eliza is going to find a way out of the cavern.

Hi Stella! This book sounds so exciting and engaging. I love books with a sense of suspense and I can tell that this book has that. What obstacles do you think Eliza is going to have to face to be able to get out? I hope you enjoy the rest of your book!
