So here’s the thing…I put too much pressure on myself to finish this before the new year, that I ended up in a mini reading slump. Taking a short break from it to read People We Meet on Vacation, but I’ll continue it. There is so much drama between Magnolia and BJ…it’s actually driving me crazy!!

If I’m going to give an initial rating (after reading a quarter of the book), so far it’s giving 3.5-3.6 stars out of 5. Hopefully this rating changes later…but we shall see…

Omg, that’s such a scary flashback. BJ od’ing from cocaine, and this was his second time! The whole scene is full of chills! Especially when he tells Magnolia that he loves him and she says it back too…stop!!!! I’m actually crying!

I take back what I thought about Marsaili, she is definitely not like Dorota from Gossip Girl

I genuinely hope I’m wrong but Paili is mad suspicious now! When Magnolia is telling how rude it is for BJ to be bringing Taura to an event (the girl that we think BJ cheated on Magnolia with), why is Paili going “We don’t know that.”

I still don’t believe that Taura was the one involved…but if it ends up being Paili…then that would be too easy to figure out! I hope it’s not Paili!!

So finally the reason to why BJ and Magnolia has come out. BJ apparently cheated on Magnolia with someone. Magnolia is assuming it was Taura (BJ’s new girl at her mother’s event), but something tells me it’s not Taura that he cheated on her with…

Okay so we have Christian, Brooks, and now Breaker (also on and off with BJ)…how many guys has she dated? I’m actually genuinely curious 🧐

I know I’m only five chapters in, but I’m still so confused. I am still not sure how BJ and Magnolia ended up breaking up and what BJ did to hurt her. At least we got a little context on the relationship tha Magnolia and Christian had (as a flashback indicated that BJ hated seeing them kissing in the club and proceeded to beat up Christian — now they are good post the flashback)

I’m going to go out on a limb and assume that the reason Magnolia and BJ didn’t workout (how he lost her) was maybe because of cheating…but also I think it’s too early for me to make that assumption.

But also BJ is like a total man-w***e. He will literally sleep with any girl. He literally just got another girl’s number (the waitress at the restaurant he is at).
