At least Dexter found Chutsky before he found Doakes, if he even finds him at this point. He might not. I don't think they're going to find him before it's too late. Dr. Danco really did a number on Chutsky before Dexter found him, missing half of his right leg, half of his left arm, and he's shaved bald everywhere, which I find really unnerving.

How does Debra fall in love with someone she hadn't even known for long? And now that he has been kidnapped, she's being so weird about everything. At least they know details about the guy that actually did the operation, and now that it's getting intense and he's near, it's getting exciting.

That detail on the victim was actually crazy; it made me kind of uncomfortable, but not really. The fact that they were alive after that is a big, uncomfortable factor. Also liked the parts where Dexter would go over to Ritas house.

I'm really excited to read this after watching the show beforehand. Things are already different from the show, killing off the one character much more earlier. I want to know how much more different the book is from the show.
