I was so scared of this book as someone who doesn't read a ton of high fantasy. The first part (like the first four chapters) I definitely had to just sit down and read and be okay with being confused but now I'm eating this up. Trials, animals, politics, who knows what else is coming. So glad I decided to pick this one up.
