I believe a twist might be coming.

Eli Cross is really the mystery of this novel, especially for Nathalie.

Suspense builds as the "big heist" approaches.

The cat and mouse aspect of the story is much more prevalent than the mystery. Still, I'm hoping for some kind of twist by the end.

The story gathers steam when Nathalie begins to suspect that Eli is using her for some nefarious purpose.

The novel is told in 3rd person omniscient pov. While most of the shifts in perspective are handled well, there are a few that could use more of a transition to make them less jarring.

The fact that Nathalie's parents both seemed to have known Eli Cross and even admired him adds a new level to the story.

Very entertaining so far. Lots of descriptive language setting the scene. Would like a little more character development, but Nathalie and Eli are interesting.
