I hate when one of the main characters (usually the male one) lets go of his goal for the sake of helping to achieve the goal of the other main character (usually the female one). Sunho just said 'well, I can find my brother another day' and smiled at Ren like he never felt any urgency to find him. If I said that I'm irritated, it would have been an understatement.

The foundation of this book already feels weak. How in the world is Sunho not suspicious over Ren since she's a girl and wears a mask and how in the world was Ren expecting to find the cure for her uncle in the first place is truly beyond me 🤨

There is no point in stressing yourself to read faster 💛
You don't have to read faster if you don't want to, it could lead to burnout and might even put you into a reading slump. Go in your own pace and enjoy!
I agree with the above comments. Reading is more fun when you go at your own pace. 🤎🤎

I'm trying to not think about the burnout, but fear is there, in the back of my mind. I don't want to force myself to read, there is no joy in it, but at the same time, I can't imagine myself not reading, you know? I hope that I will not have to force myself, at any point.

The world is not ending, so I have as much time as I want to, technically :) But I can't help, but try to rush myself, to read as much as possible, but, at the same time, I feel like there is no point anymore, because I will fail my reading challenge this year anyway 😩
