I’m glad we didn’t just forget about Katrin and Neera, and I like the dog. it makes me laugh when Malar the old soldier says stuff like “girly” and “girl”
unfortunately you can tell this book was written by a man - it’s not too bad but the mention of flirting with men for sport or something is so random 😭

love the references to the modern world like the “we’re not in kansas anymore” from the wizard of oz and the allusion to the story of adam and eve. also a big fan of Livira’s snarky crow friend, and I’m so excited that Livira and Evar are JUST about to meet.
