Basically, because NO ONE needs that much money. Like really, NO ONE needs to be a billionaire. AND most of it is generational wealth. Especially, when in our country THIRTEEN MILLION CHILDREN are starving, while Trump is building a ballroom. While billionaires aren't doing ANYTHING. The government so worried about minorities and what not, but they're worrying about the wrong 1%. Billionaires have also notoriously not payed taxes.

Ok I have to admit I am one of these people because I don’t think any billionaire is a good person since it is one of those things like there’s no ethical way they saved that much money I don’t like Taylor Swift because of her massive carbon footprint just in relation to her private jet so that’s why I don’t listen to her music I also don’t listen to Katy Perry due to her trip to space as I think it was just an insensitive display of wealth and only furthered the issue of climate change but I also won’t be like “oh no one else should listen to these two!!” It’s up to the person.. my mine reason why I also am like “y’all could really use this money for good” is because there’s people like Dolly Parton who could be a billionaire BUT she put so much money into making the world better and supporting humanist causes that she never broke one billion so in the end I wouldn’t say that I hate them just that I find it rather disappointing in the end because yes it is their money but they don’t seem to take into account the other people on earth with them (my issues with Katy Perry goes beyond the space thing but this is already long)

I should’ve said this in my update lol 😭 I’m not saying they shouldn’t donate, I’m not saying that at all. After ending SNAP benefits, and all that’s happening right now, there’s so many people that could use that money. I just mean we shouldn’t say things like “they should donate all their money” or “if I had that much I would donate ALL of it”

lowk even if you earned all that money in your own… you shouldn’t have that much money… it’s A LOT of money to have when there’s still so many people and kids and families starving and homeless and in poverty. 10% of people live in extreme poverty, which is about 808 MILLION people. i just dont think someone should have that much money when people don’t even have a fraction of that. and the 400 wealthiest people in the us literally pay 24% less taxes than the average person. i just don’t think its ethical to have so much money.

personally i think you need to donate anything you have over a billion. a billion is already an insane amount, OVER that??? that’s way too much.

Yeahhh for sure. Like I don't like ANY billionaire. But more can definitely be more evil than another. TS isn't the spawn of Satan, but she ain't a saint either. People need to stop latching onto extremes.
