The descriptions in this book are amazing. I first picked it up and started reading just because I was bored, but then was instantly drawn in the clear pictures of the scenery and daily life. Twas truly beautiful. I'm hoping to get that feeling I get with Revolutionary War history, but also hoping to be surprised by the depth. I shall see. So far though, I don't have much time to read this one.
