The 3-4 chapters I’ve read basically taught me:
1. Our govt + the CIA can’t be trusted.
2. Good for Afghanis/Iraqis for fighting back against the US.
3. Our government and politicians are FOREVER STIRRING THE POT.
4. THE LACK OF SUPPORT FOR THESE MILITARY PERSONNEL AFTER BASICALLY DROPPING THEM IN A WAR THAT WE CAUSED.
5. I need to be blissfully ignorant again. I paid 0 attention to US History bc of this.
