The book that I would use as my book of the year is Double Crossed by Ally Carter. I really like this book because it is about spies. Spies always do crazy things that make the book full of action, another thing I like about it. Finally, it is very suspenseful and you can never guess what is going to happen next, how in a lot of other books, you can.

the whole story was fit into one day, Josie's birthday on Leap Day. It was the most inspirational day in 4 years for her, because it only happened once every four years. This day is filled with so much detail and fun things she does because it is her 16th birthday, so it is a special day. Well, actually it's her 4th birthday, counting as she's only had 4 birthdays in her whole life.

I just finished Leap Day and thought it was very good, one thing I really liked about it was that the point of view always changed from the main character to the smaller characters who were just in the background. It went from the main characters point of view to the guy who borrows her homework sometimes because he doesn't have time to do his own. It was a short book, so it was easier to finish, but it was very good

Faith recommends the book Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher because it is very suspenseful, it was about teenagers so she could relate to it, and it was a mystery, which is one of her favorite genres.

My partner is Faith Bolin and she read The Maze Runner, Scorch Trials and The Death Cure, all by James Dashner.
