I wonder if Alex will ever see his brother again. Even though it is said that they will never see their family again, it always has scenes of telepathic communication between the two boys. I also wonder if there will be an adventure. So far in the story, it has been staitionary and not much action or adventure. However, the book seems to be about a really important adventure that will soon come.

The protagonist of the story is Alex. Alex is the protagonist because the story revolves around him even though the story is around other characters too. In the story, all the characters are learning their own powers and the problems occur with Alex, and how he cannot obtain his powers like his friends.

The sympathetic character in the book is Alex because he is really calm and collected . Even though he got sent as an Unwanted and his brother did not, he still took it like it was not the end of the world. I really like that in characters.

The unsympathetic character in the book "The Unwanteds" is Aaron, the twin brother to Alex. The reason why I do not appeal to Aaron is because he is a snitch and acts nice on the outside but really is a jerk on the inside. He got many people sent as an unwanted child when they really were supposed to be wanted or necessary children.
