Herbert West - Reanimator: 4⭐️ (a bit repetitive as I suppose each chapter was published separately, but creepy and enthralling. A little dicey at some points but overall quite good. If Victor Frankenstein was a blonde American to be sure.)

The Rats in the Walls: 3⭐️ (not really the biggest fan of long genealogies in fiction. Had to reread several pages as my brain couldn’t hold onto the plot. Once I learned the name of the cat I was shocked into paying attention though… (should we maybe be talking about this..?))
