Sylvester Telfair was out of school and out of work and he decided he wanted to become a Marine. He was 19 and he was being trained how to kill. He was 149 lbs with good hands they called him ¨Sweet 0¨ a name that evolved into ¨Otis¨. Otis spent more then 2 months in the hospital, where he was treated for posttraumatic stress discorder. They would award him $2,000 a month.

So far what i have read in the book was that its talking about a basketball player that started from the bottom and made his way up. During his sophomore year, he helped the Friars get to the Elite Eight round on the NCAA tournament beating Mike Krzyzewski´s Duke team along the way. His name is jamel and he is a good player with a tremendous heart.
