continued..Siena later finds out that the character used to live in the house and didn't talk like her brother! Sam comes and visits once and awhile. Siena's mom hires Sam to play with Lucca. She thinks it will help him to start to talk again. Siena gets farther and father into the story of the character. She writes often.

I read over the last 25 pages because I am finishing this book. I reread about Siena and her special book. She is getting closer and closer to the story in the book. The story in the book is very interesting and keeps making Siena distracted. I also reread about how Siena finally hears Luca talk, but the next morning she can barely remember what had happened.

continued.. She asks him why he doesn't talk and he says he doesn't want to. When Siena wakes up she doesn't know if it was a dream or not, but is not going to tell anyone. While all that is happing she gets closer to the story in her special notebook.

Siena is trying to get her brother to talk so she takes him to the beach, she snuggles with him, and hangs with him all day. Sam comes over often and wonders why Siena writes in a notebook all the time. She tells him and doesn't tell everyone or makes fun of her. Siena's parents get in a fight about Lucca and Lucca hears. Siena takes him outside and comforts him.

Siena explores the town. Mrs. Lang tells Siena where to go. When she goes to the a store she meets Sam and Morgan. Sam and Morgan are friendly and ask Siena to stay for lunch. Siena is happy and surprised. They have lunch and talk for awhile. Siena finds an old pen thats writes a story that is not her own. She is so creeped out. She doesn't control the story but witnesses it from the eyes of the character.
