Why does everyone keep calling her Babe?? Dex has called her babe since they were still teenagers and young adults after their breakup. I get at this page point they’re fake engaged, but he’s been saying babe before that. Ethan called her babe knowing they weren’t actually together, and why must Dimitri do the same and flirt with her if he knows his brother is crazy about her? Not crazy in a good way, either.

I feel like I can’t even rlly read this book since I’m so busy annotating here. Why tf would he pay her for being his finance? That was never the deal. Also, “…he truly did set one because my phone beeped almost immediately.” Why tf would her phone beep if HE set a reminder on his phone?? Someone said it seems like a story plot was put in AI and written- in starting to think it’s true. Ridiculous.

He was dressed completely when she went to bed. Apparently he stayed up and was hashing out details of their fake engagement. Dex is literally written as putting on his shirt, but is then said to be walking off to the bathroom and only his boxers are mentioned. “Then, he walked off in his boxers toward the bathroom.”

Keelani’s pov of the next morning. Author wrote them immediately going to a guest room and going to bed. Yeah, she wrote on 118 that he was wiping her with a warm wet cloth, but that’s not proper hygiene or aftercare if any sort. Also, if she’s so annoyed by him and they both think the other hates them, why does he want her to live with him and why does she sleep in bed with him? Inconsistencies.

It’s written that Dex is telling Keelani will be sore for days and she shouldn’t walk around or do much. She might’ve been a virgin before he took it, but it doesn’t work like that. This is too unbelievable. Though, maybe it just seems so incorrect in this book because of the bad story between them.

Just found a position issue on page 108 in the middle of a smut scene. Dex is finding out she’s a virgin. She was on her stomach leaning against the counter, but Dex turned her to face him before he shoved his dick in her. That was the last position change. But then, outta nowhere, author writes “…but her hand shot out to grab my ass behind her.” How is his ass behind her if they’re facing each other.

I’ve had multiple times where the sentence doesn’t make sense because the wrong word form was used. The bottom of pages 104 and I found a typo. Are you for real? A supposed high level book and yall can’t catch a missing “to?” Dex “Now, want me fuck you nice…” how do you miss that it should be “Now, want me to fuck you nice”
