This book is pretty good so far. I like the descriptive army scenes and the way she describes the death march. It feels like you are actually there with him. Her style and way of writing is very intriguing and I can't wait to read more of it.

Ceremony is definitely rich in metaphors and similes. All throughout the book they are hidden in there. Although it may take a minute to understand them at times, they do add to the book by helping understand the characters a little better. I have never encountered a book with this many metaphors and similes. It makes for an interesting read.
