Ok good things first the baking and food descriptions are wonderful and Maeve is an interesting character and the cover is stunning but (HUGE but) Annie is annoying, her friends are absolute shit so far, the messages are very on the nose (I don’t really mind that usually but it’s getting a bit annoying), the supposed love interest is boring but he only appeared just now so I can’t judge him yet
