I have a feeling there are a number of folks on my feed who would want to read this book, which pretty convincingly details the part colonial New England played in spreading, normalizing, and profiting from the enslavement of Africans and Native Americans. If, like me, you assume that the North was always a seat of noble anti-slavery, I think this book is a must read.
