it’s okay. i love that this novel feels like a novel. it’s a lot of shakespeare and im not about it all the time. better than BNW but it’s whatever. for the class its a solid book.

it was so boring honestly. i kept hoping for some tragic ending or closure but it never came. i honestly didn’t really like the plot at all either. maybe it’s because i never read the tempest but regardless of that the second half of the book just wasn’t great. the grief journey was unsatisfying and i never really felt like felix changed. anyways that’s my take because my professor loved it.

okay so i have to read part one (chapters 1-9) and i’m actually enjoying it so far. at first i was not thrilled because it’s a shakespeare rendition but doesn’t seem too crazy, yet. i like the writing so far and compared to BNW this is so refreshing.
