I knew Owen was a good guy!! I knew he was good from day one! I also knew there was more to Serena she’s half wolf half human!!
Also the way Misery’s father was willing to kill her just to get his way is so disgusting and has just irritated me to a level I never thought was possible before this.
No also the way Lowe has confirmed my suspicions of them being mates also scratches my brain in all the right ways!

Also the relationship is getting serious and Owen has just confirmed there is something going on since the bite!
I knew it! Here we go folks the slow burn is ending finally and now we get the fun parts!

And yep we have the big plot point that then pushes the two love interests away from each other right after.
God slow burn is so predictable in this way, but also its political marriage of convenience so that’s how I’m totally lost and wondering where we go from here.
The fact that Lowe had to mark her to protect her from Weres is very telling and the fact he wanted her

It’s major plot point time ladies and gentlemen! Oh wow this, this is the type of thing I lowkey live for I’m sorry, like this is extremely exciting now!
Also the way a mate seems as if it is truly love at first sight is so so perfect.

Huh that was actually a very interesting backstory regarding the war and how it began, honestly? That’s just made me more interested with this book and I think it very much has some potential to be an enjoyable spooky read!

I said I would start this during spooky season when Mate came out… now that I have obtained Mate, it only seems right.
