Awww, I kinda liked Primus.

Tristran’s suddenly got kind of decent. Who knew?

OK, the lion thing was cool. I like Tristran a little better now.

One point for splinting her leg, I guess.

I also hope Tristran chokes on it. He is behaving extremely badly and is very difficult to like. I myself have something of a reputation of doing idiotic things for love, and I would certainly never kidnap a person.

Gaiman writes well, but there’s something a bit cold about his books. They always leave me feeling lonely.

I’m not sure how I feel about this. I don’t dislike it, but it’s lacking…something. An interesting protagonist, maybe. He might get better. American Gods is the only other Gaiman book I’ve read, and Shadow was so extraordinary I think I got spoilt. I actually like the tone of this better, but we’ll see.

So I THINK Victoria is supposed to read as snobbish, but she just seems practical to me. I don’t much like it when people use grandiloquent (!!!) lines from romance novels on me either. I like sincerity.
