this is genuinely such a pet peeve of mine that straight people say. you don't know how many times queer people have cried because their attracted to the same gender. i seriously cannot tell you how it feels not be to able to tell my friends who i like because i like girls. it is so isolating and i'd pay anything to actually like boys. seriously, don't complain because marrying a person of the opposite gender is legal in every country, accepted by ALL people, the social norm, and you don't have to come out ever.

I'm so sorry if I offended you. I genuinely didn't mean it in that way and shouldve thought about these things before I posted this. you're right I don't know how many times queer people have cried because of those things, which is why I welcome people of all sexualities. I hope that even if there's only one, then I can be that one person that someone has to talk to. I'm so sorry you feel and go through those things, and I hate that our world isn't more accepting.
