Love how they're talking about limited sunny days in Berlin 😅 we're just entering the dark stretch and it huuurts.

Great tension between a sort of romanticism I was super into at 20 (and I haven't felt in a while) and the time & place of the story (hearing about middle class Berliners be upset about inflation gave me chilllls).

Also, I love knowing exactly where he's walking in Berlin, that's super nice to kind of picture!

Quite into this so far, the childhood vibes of the main character are so very relatable to me, and also his reading list as a kid 😅 (what does that say about me since our childhoods were so many decades apart?)
