@thunderbirdz my nana drove me all the way down to Utah to see her speak at a conference and we got there super early “just in case” and happened to meet a person on her team there who let us meet her and take a quick photo with her 💕 it’s one of my favorite childhood memories

My nana cried and she told her “without tears there are no rainbows in the heart”

she was so inspiring to me both as a young child reading about her journey, her passion, and her impact and as a growing teenager trying to find my path. her unabashed activism, care for the planet, and hope for the future will not be forgotten. rip 🕊
