Honestly after reading up to this far, I don’t even know if I want to finish it as I know this ultimate prick Silas will get off scott free. I wish he gets exposed and he learns he can’t hide behind his shitty power trip but that’s not happening is it? Atleast Maryse seems to have had a change of heart. But really I want someone to make Silas a bitch so badly.

Silas is honestly such a piece of shit. I want his house of cards all to come crumbling down. He deserves to squirm and realise he has no power beyond his mansion prison.

Honestly I didn’t like this chapter as much because of how much Lia’s brain switched up on him just because of what she perceived to be good sex. I get she’s traumatised and desperate for any good but girl a man who can sell children and shoot someone and laugh at them ain’t a man who’s good you want. Even if his dick was good. I’m glad she realised his cruelty after but that was hard to read.

I haven’t finished the chapter yet, but Silas and Lia have had ‘sex’ and I couldn’t help but grimace seeing how Lia was hooked, line and sinker for Silas’s trap. Hearing her have hope for a disgusting man like him made me want to go into the book and shake her. This is going to be hard to read when it all comes down…

So hurting her physically isn’t enough for Silas…He needs to toy with her heart as well. This man truly is terrible. I thought he would hit Maryse for her meddling but seems like he has some restraint. It makes me curious though what he’s planning to do to Lia in their next night which he is convinced will make her fall ‘in love’ with him…

One thing I have to say is Tori Sullivan has such a raw way of describing trauma. It’s in-depth, harrowing and she’s saying it for what it is instead of giving a polished version of it. I’m wondering what Silas has in store for Lia/Alyssa in their next open hours. And that guard who was ogling her…I wonder if he’s going to try his luck or what?

Silas is actually such a fucking dog-

Alright so first proper punishments happened. I don’t know if I should be concerned or not about myself…but I thought the r*pe would be more brutal?
