The problem I'm having with this is after doing 5 or so years of technical reading for uni, both for architecture, business and the construction of the English language in literary usage, is that I read too critically and a rip it apart while I'm reading it. I suppose once I relax a bit and read for enjoyments sake I'll give it another go.
