So far this book is mediocre and confusing. The main character says she’s quite a people pleaser and rarely raises her voice but most of her encounters with her mum have been heated. The main character also says ‘[her friends] stopped putting me in the group chat.’ The wording is a bit weird. I feel like the characters thinking is annoying and the timeline is a bit scattered. I hope it gets better soon!
