I can say out loud I HATE EVERYONE IN THIS BOOK SO MUCH, EVERYONE DID MY GIRL DIRTY AND I can’t even cry about it I’m so angry hello???

Starting part two - so far I’ve passed the two most talked about subject - one being SA - and unlike what people claim of romanticising the subject this is quite the contrary and shows the feelings of during, after and even the Stockholm sindrome signs and portrays the agony of someone going through it. Tough read, but it’s FAR from romanticising any of it.

Trigger warning and a spoiler - as much as I want to condemn the actions of Ferron in killing that family, and as unjustifiable as it is - it was either the mass torture the society were about to perform or the quick painless death he had offered them, which was his plan and I believe Helena was the reason he did it. Then again this is just the tip of the iceberg. Still a chance for DNF at some point
