Okay yeah, it's all going downhill now...I spoke too soon on the opening chapter.

Wait, what? In less than half a page we have the MC thinking, "If he could get Marshall between the sheets, he might not even charge the man" (for a painted mural) to packing some pencils so he could do a sketch (of the mural) while checking out the worksite because, "the quicker he started, the faster he'd be paid." *whiplash*

It's odd: This story is rated the lowest of the series/anthology and yet it's got the best first chapter of the whole bunch IMHO.

I listened to the other 4 but I'm going to read this one (and shallow as it may be, it's totally because the individual rating for this one was so much lower and I can't justify that expense).
