New lore that’s not in the films. The gaunt family, the ancestors of Voldemort. Voldemort being born from a woman that used love potions on a muggle, just makes sense for his character and that he comes from a family of aggressive, unloving and wizard racists. It really shows motive for why Voldemort acts the way he acts to a degree, could have been a good man still in a bad family? Unless there’s something else?
