The ending of the book cut me of guard. The book was a little slow but after the " white people" started taking over their village.

He had to kill and 20 year old guy because he was not helping around the village and so he did not look weak

That in the towns woman are seen as less than men. Man can have more than one wife. All the wife's of the man get to have all there own homes with there kids.
