I don't feel invested in the characters in the same way I did with Pillars of the Earth, for some reason. Maybe just the different time settings? And now we're more in a spy novel.

The third book in the series, had to do a little fibbing to get the Audible US version to listen to the audiobook (not available in Aus booooo). 30 hours for this one.
