In the part that I just read, Trisha finds some spare food in her back pack. While looking for more food, she comes across a wasp nest and gets stung by a bunch of wasps. She also takes out her Walkman and turns on the radio to hear that people are out looking for her. I think that after this she is going to proceed looking for civilization or her mom. I also think she is going to continue having hallucinations.

She continues her flashback with telling about how her brother and mom were still fighting. Trishia really had to go to the bathroom so she decided to stop and go, thinking that she can make it back to the trail. Unfortunately, she got lost and tries to make her way back when she comes upon a fallen tree that is too big to go over. She goes under the tree and stumbles upon a black snake the scares her.

She had a flashback to when they were trecking through the woods and just when she thought her mom and brother would stop fighting, they start fighting again. Her brother and mom don't pay any attention to her.

Her brother always seems to be complaining because he has no friends at his new school and misses his life at their old place.
