I finished Lyra's part of the book first (I chose to read them separately even though it could be repetitive and there are spoilers for Gemma's story). I enjoyed it, as I enjoy all of Lauren Oliver's writing. I was hoping to become a little more attached to the characters, but I felt a distance.
