i started this book a long time ago and i’m trying to get through it now. it’s hard to stomach and i wonder if i’ll actually finish the book, but i can see so clearly why this book is considered a classic. nabokov’s skill with the english language is like nothing i’ve ever seen before. but yeah this book is nauseating and like a car crash u can’t look away from

this is really difficult to stomach. gonna take a while to get through it. immensely harrowing that the cover features a young girl and that so many reviewers failed to see why it was written :/
