The further we get into this saga, the more interested I get in 2/3 plotlines, and the more I start to check out on the bland fantasy questline. Luckily the other two plots are so good, you can look forward to those chapters.

It's a bit weird going back to Abercrombie's first works after reading his most recent novel, but reading his grimdark stuff does feel like coming home in a way.

interesting how the last book convergenced all the POV characters only to have them split over 3 big fronts now...
My ownly downside is that one of the three is way less interesting.... But the other two are so intriguing that it hasn't been an issue, and I'm sure it'll get better soon!
