Mary ...white boy. Straight-laced and looking for adventure, Pudge falls in with a crowd of "bad kids" and is pulled into the questionable activities of this group. Something unique about Miles is that he really has a thing for people's last words, having many memorized along with a brief history of those who said them. Towards the beginning of the book, when Pudge is talking to his roommate "The Colonel", I find this quote to sum up Pudge pretty well: "I wore my shorts just below my hips, which I thought was cool. Finally I said, 'Yeah, I went to public school. But I wasn't hot s*** there, Chip. I was regular s***,'" (Location 221 of 3601, 6%).
