As a class we are nearing the end of this book. The transformation of Eliza is quite entertaining to see progress. The in class movie gives a great visual on the book, yet Shaw provides imagery so vivid the movie is not needed. I can't wait to see how the relationship and resolution of Eliza and Higgins relationship will unfold in part five. I am actually anxious to finish the book in class and watch the movie.

I find myself relating to modern takes and adaptations of this play. The pygmalion myth definitely has had an effect on popular culture and I see why. This play is very interesting because of the main characters. Higgins and Elizas relationship makes the play very enjoyable. Their clash of cultures and Higgins outlandish way of thinking creates the driving force for the play. I can't wait to see what is to come.
