Story 17: SHIT- simple drawings with a ton of words lol. Best story of the entire book. Glad they saved the best for last. Ariel Schrag is the author of this short story. She also wrote the Plan for the number 7 bus. I liked that she used the same Ronica friend in both stories teehee.

Story 16: Simple Machines- very heavy pencil drawings. Poor kid has A.D.D, but uses his awesome drawings for something good. I like that he really doesn't care about what the bullies say to him.

Story 15: The Disco Prairie Rebellion of '81- Woohoo I was born in 81! Wow flashbacks! It has Archie references and General Hospital lol. In the 80's I had the feathered hair (practically a mullet) and I wore the weird fashions. Saddle pants, TONS of vests! NEON!!! Thanks mom and dad for always keeping me hip :D

Story 14: Never Go Home- I liked the minimalistic illustrations. The beginning is super harsh and depressing but it ends on a nice enough note.

Story 12: Horse Camp-Okay I actually liked this one. It was so funny. Becky the main character is sent to "horse camp" for a week. When she gets there she finds out it's a Christian Sports Camp. She is pretty much pissed off. And she gets her period for the first time. BUAHHAHAHAHAH!!!

Story 11: Crater Face- This one actually was okay. I started getting acne when I was in 4th grade. It got really bad when I was in 6th grade and I was super embarrassed of them. Then I got a severe case of chicken pox in 6th grade which added to the beautiful pile of spots I already had before I got sick. T.M.I. I could relate to this story. Except for the buff lizard arms. I don't want those.

Story 10: Hit Me-again another depressing story of a poor family? Not sure. A brother and a sister are always wearing dirty clothes to school and hitchhiking. The mom seems really depressed and the dad is not very available even though he lives at home. The kids get teased everyday. Main character is befriended by a boy and once she becomes semi-popular ditches him. Pretty messed up.

Story 9: The Adventures of Batboy and Starling. Finally a short story I liked. This is about a nerdy 13 year old kid who's parents made him take the job as Batboy. He hates his job and wants desperately to get fired. But it doesn't work out like he planned lol.

story 8: Tina Roti- this story was about a girl named Tina who started at a new school and is already being picked on. The illustrations and font were nice. I am starting to get pretty depressed with all this hostility. Kids are so mean.
