3.5/5 - i took half a star off because the jumping around felt a little confusing to me, years vs days vs characters. i really enjoyed this book. i loved taking power away from the defendants name, focusing how sadly even still today women worry about being polite/helpful/agreeable over telling a weirdo creep to fuck off. i can't stop thinking about Ruth! 🖤
