Allie just randomly showed up at Noah's house after not seeing each other after a long time and she came to tell him that she is engaged and getting married soon which breaks Noah's heart even more then it already was.

Allie sent Noah a letter saying she found someone else, then awhile later another letter saying they were getting married

Noah is talking about all the troubles he had in school as a kid

Noah and the girl he loves are go on a dinner date with her family and shes nervous to introduce him to her parents and she didnt want o be too dressed up so she kept changing her look.

Noah starts to write and re-read the stories kept in his diary and he invites a good friend over and they share stories with each other while having a drink like ever week. He then introduces Noah to a girl that he knew he wanted spent the rest of his life with the moment they met, they began to see each other and hang out everyday.
