i love that r.f. kuang predicts when the reader might need a definition or an insight and provides it before they diverge else where to find it. and perhaps it’s also interesting that they are inclined to trust that definition. i think thats something really prized, to have your reader be so engrossed that they will depend on you for every question or doubt just to progress quicker through the pages.
