I have just started this book today straight after finally finishing a book I was struggling to enjoy. This book is the biggest breath of fresh air. I had three books in my hand in the shop and as soon as I read the blurb of this one I put the other back. The book is so far delivering, the dialogue feels so natural and it’s been easy to read over the kids noise as I so quickly became invested!

I’m really enjoying the plot and characters. I think about reading it when I can’t, it keeps me wanting to know more. I just don’t feel like it’s had much editing, quite a few spelling and grammatical errors, though they haven’t yet ruined the book for me.

I’ve noticed a couple of small errors in the text (like an extra “that” sneaking into a sentence 😅), but honestly it hasn’t taken away from my enjoyment at all. I’m really loving the characters and the setting so far — they feel real and relatable, and the writing is so easy to sink into. Can’t wait to see where the story goes! 💕
